It's cherry season once more! 🍒

Hey, Reader!

Have you been able to enjoy cherry season yet? It's my husband's favorite fruit, so we always get a ton this time of year. I already pitted quite a few last month, but I have three more bags in the fridge right now... just waiting 😅

I have a special appreciation for eating cherries straight out of the bag, but if you want to change it up and make something with your cherries, here's some inspo for ya!

My Favorite Cherry Recipes

This small batch cherry jam recipe has gotten over 35k views this season already! See why Pao said, "I made this today, followed everything to a T and it came out so yummy!!! I’ll definitely be making this again!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is one of my husband's favorite ice creams! I made it again last week but added small pieces of brownies after churning. The chocolate pairs really well with the cherry vanilla custard, cherry jam, and softened cherries. Highly recommend!

These homemade cherry pop-tarts are made with just four ingredients: Cherry jam, pie crust, egg, and powdered sugar!

One of my husband's favorite recipes, these mini cherry pies bake up in a muffin pan for perfectly portioned bites of pie! Bonus tip: They freeze really well and thaw out perfectly in 10-15 mins in a 350°F oven ;)

Behind the Scenes

  • I had a videographer and photographer come by to help capture my vision for a new YouTube channel trailer and portraits, and I can't wait to share them with you when they're ready!
  • I bought another bunch of popular vanilla bean pastes and just finished up the testing on them yesterday. Stay tuned for round two ;)
  • This little kitten and its mama stopped by our backyard one night a few weeks ago and kept appearing around dusk for a few days 🥹 I've been putting out fresh water for them, but they've been stopping by less and less frequently, so I think they've found a new home. Hopefully it has lots of chairs for them to loaf on top of 😂
  • I planted some zinnia and wildflower seeds in an empty patch by our driveway two months ago. Everything is now blooming, and while I want to put some in a vase, the whole collection is just so beautiful outside! Maybe in another couple weeks when I have even more ;)

May your cherries always separate easily from the pits.

Happy baking!
Alyssa

P.S. If you've made any of my recipes, it would mean the world if you leave a review of how the recipe turned out! It goes a long way to let others know it's a tried and trusted recipe 💛
